Darin Yrigoyen was hired as the Director of Information for the Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League (MCVL) in September of 2019. 

Yrigoyen also serves in the Lynn University athletics communications office, hired in January 2019, after previous stops at Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa and Kutztown University in Kutztown, Pa. He serves as the primary contact for men's and women’s soccer, men’s & women’s cross country/track, women’s basketball and baseball. 
 
The Langhorne, Pa. native makes his way to Boca Raton after successfully completing his graduate assistantship at Division-II Kutztown University in December 2018, earning his Masters in Business Administration. While at KU, Yrigoyen assisted in the planning and execution of the many facets of KU's Sports Information Office, which encompasses the complete coverage of its 21 NCAA Division II varsity programs, serving as the primary contact for women’s basketball, women’s bowling, baseball and football. He also played a critical role in the organization and implementation of KU’s 50 Years of Field Hockey Celebration, which took place during the Fall of 2018.
 
Prior to KU, Yrigoyen obtained his bachelor’s degree in Sport Management from Loras in May 2017.
 
As an undergraduate, Yrigoyen served as a student assistant in the Athletic Communications office from 2014-17. During that time, he acted as the primary contact for the men's and women's volleyball teams and also assisted in the coverage of Loras' 20 additional NCAA Division III athletic programs.
 
On the media side, Yrigoyen was the lead play-by-play announcer for the Duhawk baseball program and also participated in broadcasting for a variety of Loras' other athletic events. Additionally, Yrigoyen served on the broadcast team for the Iowa Conference Baseball Tournament for the 2016 & 2017 seasons.
 
During the summer of 2016-17, Yrigoyen interned with the Ivy League Office in Princeton, N.J., as the summer fellow in media and communications.
 
In addition to his time in athletic communications, Yrigoyen also spent two seasons as a student-athlete as a member of the men's volleyball program.
