CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (MCVL.org) - Week 10 of the 2018 season in the Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League brought with it a clean sweep of the weekly player honors, with Kevin Rivera and Zach Lillig earning the awards from Carthage.
Rivera and Lillig led the Red Men to a 3-0 week with three sweeps, two of which came in league action.
Against Greenville, Rivera hit .714 with 10 kills while Lillig recorded 10 of his 13 blocks on the week, while adding 11 kills. Rivera finished his week with 23 kills, averaging 3.83 per set, while recording an attack percentage of .488. He added 15 digs and five total blocks to his resume. Lillig countered with 22 kills and 3.67 per set while hitting .571. He averaged 2.17 blocks per set and finished with 13 total.
