CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (MCVL.org) – Loras' Mihajlo Gomez and Adrian's Kevin Curley headline this week's honorees in the Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League's Player of the Week.
Mihajlo Gomez earns Offensive Player of the Week with his performance last week leading the offensive charge for the Duhawks in two must-win matches. The sophomore finished the weekend with 32 kills averaging 4.0 kills per set with a .281 attacking percentage.
Kevin Curley has been awarded Defensive Player of the Week leading Adrian on the defensive side with 21 digs averaging 3.0 digs per set. In the victory over Greenville, Curley finished with 13 digs.
This is Loras' fourth MCVL Player of the Week and first since Grant Ooms did so March 27, 2019. Adrian brings home their fifth MCVL Player of the Week and first since Mike Gold on March 27, 2019.
