MCVL, U.S.A -- The Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League today announced its 12th and final weekly award-winners for 2023. Baldwin Wallace's Michael Beard and Aiden Kim were chosen for Offensive Player of the Week and Defensive Player of the Week, respectively.

Offensive Player of the Week

Michael Beard (Jr., OH) Hilliard, Ohio

• Racked up 20 kills for an average of 6.67 kills per set.   
• Attacked at a .348 clip with just four errors.
• Led the offensive effort as BW clinched its first share of the MCVL Regular Season Title in program history.
• Attended Darby High School. 

Defensive Player of the Week

Aiden Kim (Fr., L/DS) Bothell, Wash.

• Totaled 16 digs for an average of 5.33 digs per set.
• Anchored BW's backline as it clinched its first share of the MCVL Regular Season Title in program history.
• Had zero reception errors on 20 attempts.
• Attended North Creek High School.

• Joseph Huster, Fontbonne > 25 kills, .568 attack percentage
• Chase Heuer, Adrian > 37 kills, .375 attack percentage
• Cameron Ternent, Mount Union > 31 kills, 4.43 kills per set
