MCVL, U.S.A. — The Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League (MCVL) announced its third edition of the 2024 weekly awards, of which went to Trine's Ted Hofmeister and Hunter Haas.

The Thunder earned the first clean sweep of the weekly awards this season as Hofmeister was recognized as Offensive Player of the Week while Haas earned Defensive Player of the Week honors. 

Hofmeister had an outstanding performance in Trine's 3-1 win over Marian, racking up 16 kills in four sets at a blistering .452 clip. In the process, the senior outside hitter became the Thunder's all-time leader in kills and points. He also added four assists, eight digs and 2.0 block assists to round out his standout effort.

Haas also had a solid day on the backline for Trine, racking up 16 digs. The senior libero was also without a reception error on 19 receiving attempts and added two assists.
