MCVL Announces Awards for Week Six

MCVL, U.S.A. — The Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League (MCVL) announced its Week Six edition of the weekly honors, recognizing Adrian's Chase Heuer and Trine's Hunter Haas. 

Heuer earned Offensive Player of the Week for the first time this season while Haas picked up his third Defensive Player of the Week. 

Heuer, a senior outside hitter, racked up 15 kills in Adrian's 3-1 victory over nearby-Siena Heights on Tuesday evening. The West Chicago, Ill.-native averaged 3.75 kills per set and hit .382 in the Bulldogs' victory. 

Haas continues to make his mark on the back line for Trine, totaling 37 digs in three matches on the week. The senior libero averaged 4.11 digs per set and had just three reception errors. 

The Thunder swept all three matches at Penn State-Behrend's tri-match on Feb. 16-17.
