Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League

A veteran of collegiate athletics for more than four decades, Yrigoyen has served as Commissioner of the Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League (MCVL) since December 2016. He was also Commissioner of the American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) from 2008 until 2021. He recently served a short stint as Interim Executive Director of the CCIW.
 
During his tenure with the A-R-C, Yrigoyen oversaw significant conference growth and strategic initiatives, including the successful addition of Nebraska Wesleyan University and the subsequent rebranding of the league. He also founded the biennial Student-Athlete Leadership Conference, strengthening the conference’s commitment to student-athlete engagement and development. His leadership extended nationally through service on the NCAA Convention Planning Subcommittee and as President of the Division III Commissioners Association (DIIICA).
 
The Reading, Pa. native spent 19 years (1989-08) with the Ivy League, rising from Assistant Director for Public Information to Associate Director. At the Ivy League, Yrigoyen developed the conference’s first website, expanded its public information operations, and managed television logistics for football and basketball broadcasts. He later took on administrative oversight of nine championship events, conference scheduling, competition policy and officiating programs across ten sports.
