Men's volleyball drops a pair of three set matches

GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The men's volleyball team suffered disappointment against Adrian and Robert Morris on Saturday as they lost to both in three sets.

The match against Adrian served as an MCVL matchup.  Greenville lost 25-19, 25-23, 25-16.

Greenville hit at an amazing .536 rate in the second set with 17 kills, two errors, and 28 attacks.

At the net, the Panthers only produced two solo blocks and nine block assists.

Kyle Ward was the leader in kills with 10.  Tanner Smith had 35 set assists.

Nick Corrigan and Logan Dameris collected five digs.

The second match against Robert Morris went to RMU with a 25-18, 25-12, 25-18  final.

Greenville's leaders, Isaiah Canales and George Black, only had four kills.

Smith was held to 14 set assists.

The Panthers (8-8, 1-1 MCVL) travel to Fontbonne on Tuesday.
