UOlivet loses two matches at home triangular

OLIVET, Mich. – The University of Olivet men's volleyball team lost two matches at a triangular inside the Cutler Event Center. The Comets fell to both Calvin University and Illinois Institute of Technology in three sets. In the neutral site match, Calvin defeated Illinois Tech in five sets.

• Freshman Silas Martin slammed down 10 of the 21 Olivet kills.
• Sophomores Andy Hok and Amarion Lawson each had three kills.
• Hok also finished with a team-best 10 digs.
• Senior Will Mensching dished out 19 set assists.

• Lawson recorded a team-best eight kills, followed by Martin and sophomore Aiden Chamblee with six and five, respectively.
• Junior Matthew Tollar contributed eight digs, followed by Martin with seven.
• Martin served three aces.
• Mensching finished with 28 set assists.

• Olivet plays a Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League match next Wednesday, March 5, at Adrian College. The first serve is scheduled for 7 p.m.
