Men's volleyball takes a set from Adrian but fall in four

ADRIAN, Mich. - The men's volleyball team traveled to Michigan for their final road trip of the season and lost in four sets to Adrian.

Greenville won the third set in the 25-21, 25-17, 20-25, 25-19 loss.

The Panthers had impressive first and third sets on the attack. In the first set, Greenville had 15 kills/4 errors/32 attacks/.344 hitting percentage, and they were 15/1/27/.519 in the third set.

Overall, Kyle Ward had the top mark on the attack for GU. He produced 15 kills and five errors in 30 attempts.

Nick Corrigan had 11 kills, and George Black and Johnny Milabu each provided 10 kills.

Tanner Smith recorded his season match-high with 52 set assists, and he needs 25 assists in their final match on Saturday to establish a new single season high mark in Greenville men's volleyball history.

Smith was also Greenville's high producer in digs with 13.

Tim Neff added a solo block and four block assists at the net.

The Panthers (12-15, 1-7 MCVL) play their final match of the season on Saturday at Olivet.
