MCVL Recognizes Mount Union’s Bowler, MSJ’s Bollhauer as Players of the Week

MCVL, U.S.A. — The Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League (MCVL) announced Mount Union's Michael Bowler and Mount St. Joseph's Ryan Bollhauer as its Players of the Week on Tuesday afternoon.

Bowler earned his second Offensive Player of the Week honor while Bollhauer earned his second Defensive Player of the Week and third weekly honor overall of 2025. He also becomes the first back-to-back award winner of the season, being honored as the Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday, Mar. 4. 

Bowler, a junior middle hitter from Brecksville, Ohio, racked up 11 kills on 17 attempts in a 3-0 win over Penn State-Behrend. He hit .588 over three sets in the match and racked up 3.7 points per set. 

Bollhauer, a senior middle from Cincinnati, Ohio, racked up 16 total blocks in four matches for the Lions. MSJ went 3-1 on the week with the help of Bollhauer's 1.14 blocks per set.
