MCVL, U.S.A. — The Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League (MCVL) announced its 10th edition of the weekly awards on Tuesday, recognizing Jack McClure and Peyton Koszelak of Mount Union.

McClure was named Offensive Player of the Week and Koszelak earned Defensive Player of the Week for the Purple Raiders, who are 4-0 in MCVL play. This is McClure's second honor this season (Jan. 21) and Koszelak's third (Feb. 4, 18). 

A senior outside hitter from Massillon, Ohio, McClure racked up 39 kills, an average of 5.57 kills per set, and hit .423. In total, he had 39 kills, 15 digs and seven blocks to lead UMU to two wins in MCVL action over Mount St. Joseph and Wittenberg. 

Koszelak averaged 4.86 digs per set over seven sets for Mount Union. He also had just two reception errors on 46 attempts, adding two kills and four assists.
