Set Notes
Set 1: In the first set, the Griffins opened with a 14-9 lead on a Saints service error. Later, the Griffins led 20-16 on Braden Woolsey's kill and were able to fend off Maryville for the 25-20 win.
Fontbonne posted 16 kills and a .448 hitting percentage in the first led by Ryan Lively with five kills. Nate Paasch, Joseph Huster, and Woolsey contributed three kills each.
Set 2: It was back-and-forth action in the second, but the Griffins led 15-12. Fontbonne were on top 17-16, however, the Saints closed out the set on a 9-4 run with Tate Sandvig's kill giving Maryville the 25-21 victory.
Fontbonne had eight kills and a .062 hitting percentage in the second. Cameron Graves had a strong performance with six kills and a .500 hitting percentage.
Set 3: Maryville led 12-8 in the third, but its lead was short-lived with Fontbonne battling back to take a 17-16 advantage on Graves' service ace.
Maryville regained the lead at 20-19 and despite Fontbonne trailing by one trying to take the advantage back, the Saints got a kill from Mason Mortimer for the 25-23 win.
Set 4: In the fourth, the Griffins took a 14-12 lead on Paasch's kill forcing the Maryville coaching staff to take a timeout.
Out of the break, the Griffins still led 22-20 on Graves' kill. The Saints, though finished the set off on a 5-0 run capped off by Luke Van Handel's kill for the 25-22 set and match win.

- Fontbonne finished with 52 kills and a .192 hitting percentage.
- Maryville ended with 47 kills and a .208 hitting percentage.
- At the net, the Saints had 19 block assists.
- Fontbonne concluded with 55 digs.
Top Griffins
- Ryan Lively posted 15 kills and 11 digs.
- Nate Paasch also recorded a double-double of 12 kills and 12 digs.
- Cameron Graves had 12 kills and a .233 hitting percentage.
- Kyler van Rossum-O'Connell was the third Griffin with a double-double having 44 assists and 15 digs. He's now up to 1,002 career digs becoming just the second player in program history to reach the 1,000 dig mark.
- He ranks seventh all-time in digs with 4,098, 18th in digs and is the first NCAA Division III setter with at least 4,000 assists and 1,000 career digs.
