CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (MCVL.org) – Adrian's Mike Gold and Fontbonne's Zach Rothstein headline this week's honorees in the Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League's Player of the Week.

Mike Gold earns Offensive Player of the Week with his performance last week leading Adrian with 34 kills averaging 3.09 kills per set with only five attack errors. In a three-set victory over North Park, Gold finished with a .882 hitting percentage with 16 kills on 17 attempts.

Zach Rothstein has been awarded Defensive Player of the Week for the second consecutive week after another great weekly performance for the Griffins. Rothstein finished with 24 digs on the week including a team-high 15 against Fontbonne's sweep over No. 8 North Central

This is Adrian's third MCVL Player of the Week and first since Kevin Curley did so on March 6, 2019. Fontbonne brings home their fourth MCVL Player of the week of the season and second consecutive as Rothstein was awarded Defensive MCVL Player of the week last week.
