CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (MCVL.org) – Loras' Grant Ooms and Adrians Mike Gold headline this week's honorees in the Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League's Player of the Week.

Grant Ooms earns Offensive Player of the Week with his performance last week leading the Duhawks in kills with 32 averaging 5.33 kills per set with only five errors. In the match against No. 1 Carthage, Ooms finished with 18 kills averaging .444.

Mike Gold has been awarded Defensive Player of the Week earning his second consecutive Player of the Week honors receiving the offensive award last week. Gold led the Bulldogs on the defensive side earning 1.67 blocks per set totaling 15 blocks in nine sets.

This is Adrian's fourth MCVL Player of the Week and second consecutive as Gold did so in the previous week. Loras brings home their third MCVL Player of the Week and first since Ian Walsh on February 13, 2019.
