Mount Union's Ternent, Adrian's Rembulat Earn Season-Opening Player of the Week Awards

MCVL, U.S.A -- The Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League today announced its first weekly award-winners for 2023. Mount Union's Cameron Ternent was chosen Offensive Player of the Week and Adrian's Jacob Rembulat was the pick for Defensive Player of the Week.

 

Offensive Player of the Week

Cameron Ternent, Mount Union (Sr., OH) Canal Fulton, Ohio

  • Racked up 25 kills at a blistering .432 clip for an average of 4.17 kills per set.
  • Posted 17 kills in three sets in a sweep of Hiram and added eight kills in UMU's sweep of Stevenson.
  • 2022 First team All-MCVL.
  • Attended Massilon Jackson High School

 

Defensive Player of the Week

Jacob Rembulat (Jr., L) San Bernardino, Calif.

  • Averaged a team-high 2.62 digs per set and amassed 34 total digs.
  • Started at libero in all three of Adrian's matches at the Hiram Quad.
  • Anchored the backline for the Bulldogs' 3-0 weekend to start the season.
  • Attended Citrus Valley High School
