MCVL, U.S.A -- The Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League today announced its third weekly award-winners for 2023. Mount Union's Cameron Ternent was chosen Offensive Player of the Week and his teammate Aaron Armour was the pick for Defensive Player of the Week.

Offensive Player of the Week

Cameron Ternent, Mount Union (Jr., OH) Massillon, Ohio

• Earned Tournament MVP Honors at the CUW Invite as UMU went 3-0, which included a win over No. 10 UC-Santa Cruz.
• Racked up 59 kills on the weekend with an average of 3.47 kills per set.
• Attacked at a .438 clip and scored 63.5 points, an average of 3.7 per set.
• Second OPOTW Award of 2023.
• Attended Massillon Jackson High School.

Defensive Player of the Week

Aaron Armour (Fr., DS/L) Waukesha, Wis.

• Averaged a team-high 3.65 digs per set during UMU's 3-0 weekend.
• Had just four reception errors on 103 attempts in serve receive.
• First Freshman Weekly Award Winner in 2023.
• Attended Catholic Memorial High School.
