MCVL, U.S.A -- The Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League today announced its fourth weekly award-winners for 2023. Wabash's Patrick Volk was chosen Offensive Player of the Week and Trine's Hunter Haas was the pick for Defensive Player of the Week.
Offensive Player of the Week
Patrick Volk (Fr., MB) Lafayette, Calif.
- Racked up 60 kills in five matches at a .321 clip.
- Averaged 4.29 kills per set as Wabash went 3-1 at the IWU Invite.
- First Career OPOTW.
- Attended Campolindo High School.
Defensive Player of the Week
Hunter Haas (Jr., DS/L) Cincinnati, Ohio
- Averaged a 4.0 digs per set and was named to the Nazareth/Fisher All-Tournament Team.
- Had zero reception errors on 66 attempts.
- 2021 and 2022 MCVL Defensive Player of the Year
- Attended Bishop Moeller High School.
