MCVL, U.S.A -- The Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League today announced its 11th weekly award-winners for 2023. Mount Union's Jack McClure was chosen Offensive Player of the Week and Trine's Hunter Haas was the pick for Defensive Player of the Week.

Offensive Player of the Week

Jack McClure (Jr., OH) Massillon, Ohio

• Racked up 17 kills in the Purple Raiders' three-set sweep of Fontbonne.  
• Averaged 5.67 kills per set and hit .467 in the match.  
• Attended Massillon Jackson High School.

Defensive Player of the Week

Hunter Haas (Jr., DS/L) Cincinnati, Ohio

• Totaled 37 digs for an average of 5.27 digs per set.
• Broke school record for digs in a match with 25 vs. Wittenberg.
• Had zero reception errors on 43 attempts in two matches.
• 2021 and 2022 MCVL Defensive Player of the Year.
• Attended Bishop Moeller High School.
